What you actually do

Three taps, and you are reading strips.

Practice Calipers measuring one R to R interval at 17.4 small boxes, showing 86 beats per minute and the 1500 method
01

Measure it yourself.

Drag the calipers across one R to R. The app counts the small boxes, converts them to seconds, and prints the arithmetic underneath, so you see where the number came from instead of being handed it.

1500 ÷ 17.4 boxes = 86 bpm. That line is on the screen, not in a textbook.

The Heart and the Trace, showing the conduction system lighting up as the QRS is drawn below it
02

See where the wave comes from.

Watch the conduction system fire in time with the strip. The ventricles light as the QRS is drawn, so every bump on the paper has a place in the heart rather than being a shape you memorised.
